last sunday.. went to sunday school to have buddhist lesson.. the upcoming module is an interesting one ........................
'' death and impermanence ''
i think lots of people will question why do we study death when we are still alive? this is a point.. people dun talk about death becos some are scare of it, some thinks that there is no point talking about death when we are still alive and some will think that it a not a very good subject to talk about..
death is something that we as a normal human beings have to go through and we definitely have to face it one day.. that is why we study about death..
in buddhist point of view.. if we ignore reality, by not facing death and facing our own mortality, we are creating fear in our own mind. in dharma way of thinking about death is to face it honestly. Instead of letting the fear of death fester in the closest, we're going to take it out and look at it and it probably won't be as bad as wad it's going to be.
This lesson has taught me to treasure every single seconds living in this world.. no one will know what will happen the very next moment..
life is fragile..
where will i go after i die? will anyone miss me?
no one is going to create a wonderful path for you but yourself..
i'll be a strong gal !! and to live my life to the fullest !!
